"Piano Notes!" will help intermediate learners to improve their sight-reading of notes on the bass and treble clef in the keys of C, F, G, Bb, D, Eb, A, Ab and E (0-4 flats, 1-4 sharps).

A little bit of documentation would be helpful and some ability to configure to user preferences. And for Havens sake change the picture for the icon of the App. It is embarrassing to show it on my homescreen.
A great way to combine fun and educational value.
With this app you can learn to fluently read music notes in a playful, fun and simple way, especially for kids.
The different ways to challenge you to improve are a nice way to keep you motivated and having fun.

Ive been a "play by ear" musician for many years, but using this app actually makes me want to learn to read music again. I like that an actual piano keyboard is used to play the notes you see, so it translates instantly into knowledge you can apply on the piano. Well done, simple yet perfectly executed app!
Great little game that secretly makes you learn! A definite must-have for anyone that has ever touched a piano, or even heard one! Basically, fun for everyone!
Piano Notes! – Learn to Read Music is fun, and it very effectively extends the note-reading skills that were taught and practiced in Notes! – Learn to Read Music.
I especially like the fact that Piano Notes provides:
1.carefully sequenced, guided practice of eight key signatures, in both the treble and the base clefs;
2.visual and auditory reinforcement of correct answers;
3.a fun-filled game mode (joystick icon) that allows you to succeed at different levels.
Reading notes was painful and boring, until I started using this app. Now im a better rounded musician for $1
Some bad moments
Does not show notes with them once they are picked. I would like to see notes with them for a beginner.
There appears to be zero flexibility, you have to go through it in the path that theyve laid out. Its really tedious. Some people clearly like it, but its just not for me. I prefer something more creative and less rote-driven.
Excellent practice for my eleven year old pianist. Good for me too. Totally useful and fun.
This app is really excelerating my rate of learning to read treble and base clef. Ive used it a few times and I can see the difference. Easy to use, nice interface, cute cat graphic.
I have definitely seen an improvement in my note identification since using this app. I do wish however, that there were some instructions and (or) options. This is the only app I own that has none at all.
“Piano Notes!” shows you about an octave and a half of keyboard at a time. Sometimes treble clef and sometimes bass clef. It progresses into accidentals and key signatures. The keyboard gives you a “middle c” reference. When you see a note on the staff, you must press the correct key – not just the correct name, but also in the correct octave. It does more. Very clear.
Graphics look good on iPad and iPhone.
I bought this to help my granddaughter. My experience: professional (reading) musician for over 40 years.
